Optoma has announced the launch of the ZH420UST high brightness laser ultra short throw projector.
This new model builds on the ZH400UST and is powered by DuraCore laser light source and offers advanced installation features including HDBaseT, four corner correction and a built-in edge blending and warping processor – ideal for leisure and hospitality venues.
James Fursse, Product Manager at Optoma Europe, commented: “The ZH420UST is the first Full HD 1080p ultra short throw projector with built-in edge blending and warping adjustments to give flexibility, reliability and incredible performance. Its capabilities for professional installations make this model the perfect solution for museums, attractions, sports stadiums and even nightclubs.”
The projector’s four corner geometric adjustment makes for quick and accurate installation. It is ideal for uneven walls or where a projector placement is awkward and needs to be installed at an angle.
It can project downwards and sideways in ‘portrait mode’. This means the projector can be operated on its side, to produce a tall, thin image. The versatility of the projector makes it perfect for digital signage applications.
For large-scale projection, the ZH420UST features a built-in edge-blending and warping processor. Its HDBaseT input is included to simplify cabling requirements and reduce installation complexity, saving time and reducing costs.
Optoma’s DuraCore laser range features a laser light source said to deliver a minimum of 20,000 hours in full brightness mode. The ZH420UST has been independently tested and certified with a dust resistance IP5X rating. Outstanding resistance to dust in combination with exceptional brightness ensures the durability and reliability; paramount for 24/7 maintenance free operation in challenging environments.
Equipped with 114% Rec709 colour gamut coverage, the company says it delivers superb colour accuracy to produce eye-catching content and bright, lifelike images to engage and capture the interest of any audience.
