Denon Professional has announced the introduction of three new ceiling speakers and a multi-media player, all for commercial sound applications within the professional integration market.
The new products are the DN-105S, 106S, 108S ceiling loudspeakers and the DN-300ZB poly-media player, all launched this week at InfoComm. The ceiling speakers are designed to deliver accurate, articulate sound while also meeting commercial fire resistance and suitability standards
All three models feature a metal “can” rear enclosure, which provides a fire barrier behind the speaker to meet commercial fire codes. It also serves as the woofer’s enclosure to optimise its bass tuning and low frequency response. The speakers have 70/100V transformers to facilitate multiple unit installations.
There are three different size models with 4in, 6 ½in and 8in woofers. All three utilise drive units in tuned reflex enclosures and precision electronic crossovers ideal for music, PA applications and business/educational presentations.
Following on from Denon’s DN-300Z, the DN-300ZB is a compact, all-in-one media player with balanced outputs that handles all popular playback formats from a single playback device. The balanced outputs are specifically targeted at the professional/commercial sector as they enable long connection cable runs without increasing stray noise pickup.
The DN-300ZB is a single rack unit (1 standard rack unit) chassis and features Bluetooth technology for wireless streaming for BYOD users, as well as front-loading media slots (CD, USB, SD/SDHC) that playback all popular mass-storage media.
