Naostage expands global reach with three APAC distributors

The company says the strategic partnerships with Novatech, in Australia, ArcSource in Hong Kong and EZpro in mainland China, cater for the growing demand for its tracking solution, K SYSTEM

Naostage, creator of the first automatic, beaconless 3D tracking solution for live events and immersive experiences, has announced three new distributors in the APAC region.

The company says the strategic partnerships with Novatech, in Australia, ArcSource in Hong Kong and EZpro in mainland China, cater for the growing demand for Naostage’s tracking solution, K SYSTEM.

In Australia, Naostage will be represented by Novatech Creative Event Technology, a family-owned event production company based in Adelaide, South Australia, focusing on providing innovative, creative turnkey solutions for events of all sizes, while offering a one-stop shop for event organisers and promoters.

Novatech become the exclusive distributor for Naostage in Australia, where it will focus on introducing artists, event producers, and production and performing arts companies to the K SYSTEM.

Christopher Bolton, principal designer and innovator for Novatech creative event technology, said: “The innovative approach of Naostage provides a clear difference to artists, production staff and clients alike. We’ve closely followed the evolution tracking in live events, having been an early adopter of d3, now disguise, back in 2014 with the first d3 servers in Australia.”

Ashley Gabriel, director of sales and marketing for Novatech, says Naostage’s technology is ideally suited to customers across the wider Australasian live events industry. He said: “We see K SYSTEM as a complementary offering to what we’re known for, but also furthering our reputation and offering to the Australian events industry in bringing new and creative technology to market.”

ArcSource, located in Hong Kong, now represents Naostage in the Greater China region, including Macau. The company, which initially discovered Naostage online in 2022, has since had the chance to visit the Naostage team to get to know the K SYSTEM.

ArcSource distributes some of the world’s most recognised AVL brands and offers services such as design development, concept design and commissioning tailored to meet the specific needs of its clients.

Jocelyn Wong, business development manager at ArcSource, said: “We see immense potential in the Naostage K SYSTEM and are thrilled to connect the brand with the right customers. Tracking solutions are becoming more common in stage performances and Naostage’s beaconless system enhances performers’ flexibility on stage.”

Alongside theatre, concerts and visitor attraction sites, ArcSource is excited to bring Naostage technology to schools and houses of worship. Using AI to identify and follow performers in a defined tracking area, K SYSTEM is designed to enable the automation of AV and lighting effects without the limitations imposed by traditional hardware transmitters.

EZPro International, the new distributor for the mainland Chinese market, represents pro audio, lighting, conference and control system brands.

Douglas Zhang, director of business development at EZPro, said: “Beaconless tracking is exactly what we have been seeking, and after seeing the K SYSTEM demo at InfoComm in Las Vegas, I knew EZPro had to become the distributor.”

He believes the K SYSTEM will be particularly beneficial for touring, museums, theatre and high-end corporate events. He concluded: “EZPro has strong confidence in Naostage’s evolving technology and combined with the EZPro team, we’re confident Naostage will become a go-to brand for tracking solutions.”

Alexis Reymond, sales manager for Naostage, commented: “We are delighted to welcome three new distributors for the Australian and Chinese markets. Their commitment to elevating the event experience aligns with our vision for Naostage, making them the ideal partners to bring the potential of real-time tracking and automation to creatives in these regions.”
