Lightware moves to new sustainable HQ in Budapest

New headquarters in Budapest, Hungary, spans 7,000sqm and integrates technological infrastructure with eco-friendly solutions

Lightware, a leader in connectivity solutions for the professional AV industry, has officially opened its new global headquarters at the HOP Technology Office Park in Budapest, Hungary.

The new headquarters spans 7,000sqm and is built with sustainability at its core. It integrates technological infrastructure with eco-friendly solutions aimed at reducing carbon footprint and promoting environmental responsibility. The facility is designed for energy efficiency, featuring advanced building management systems and environmentally conscious materials.

The facility includes multiple design kitchens and a spacious open-space cafe, offering areas for relaxation and informal engagement designed to foster team cohesion and creativity.

For recreation and rest, the office includes amenities such as massage chairs, comfortable seating areas, a yoga room, and a PlayStation room.

Plans are currently in progress to install a solar power system at the new headquarters, a step that will significantly increase the use of renewable energy sources and support the company’s long-term sustainability objectives.

Gergely Vida, CEO, Lightware Visual Engineering, said: “Moving into our new headquarters is more than just a change of address – it’s a reflection of how far we’ve come and where we’re headed. We designed this space to support the way we work today and how we’ll grow tomorrow: with sustainability in mind, and with a focus on the people who make Lightware what it is. I believe a good workspace should energise and connect people – and that’s exactly what this new facility is built to do.”
