A tabletop conference system that enables people to call, present both wired and wirelessly, as well as collaborate, is being presented by Crestron at ISE 2018. The Crestron Mercury CCS-UC-1 supports any web collaboration service and open SIP calls, and features a built-in 7in touch screen, high-performance speaker, four microphones, Bluetooth, occupancy sensors and more. Crestron Mercury is secure, and can be deployed and managed over the cloud as part of a complete managed enterprise, the company says.
Crestron says Mercury provides highly intelligible, full-duplex communication for every participant around a conference table. It features BYOD multimedia presentation capabilities, capable of turning any space into a videoconference room by connecting a laptop running web conferencing or UC applications. By connecting the laptop via USB, Crestron Mercury provides enhanced audio along with a high-definition view of the whole room through the included USB camera.
Crestron Mercury’s sleek design is not only attractive and unobtrusive, the company says, it’s also functional, allowing for placement at either the centre or head of the table.
Crestron Mercury integrates directly with Microsoft Exchange or Crestron Fusion, allowing seamless room scheduling and automation for any number of Crestron Mercury-equipped rooms.
