Atlona has opened an EMEA Logistics Hub in the Netherlands designed to provide faster product order and return merchandise authorisation (RMA) fulfilment in the region. The operation’s RMA and service logistics functions will be run by newly appointed RMA and support engineer Piotr Mazurek, a veteran AV IT CAD engineer.
“Following on the December opening of Atlona International in Zurich and Atlona Asia in Hong Kong, this is another major development that enables us to pursue our mission to ‘be global, act local,’” said Ronni Guggenheim, general manager, Atlona International. “With the EMEA Logistics Hub, we are now able to offer comprehensive local support on all continents.”
The Hub offers the company’s partners availability of inventory within their markets, which enables faster and less expensive product shipping costs. As of October, the company began same-day shipping service from the facility. New and replacement product orders for shipment in Europe are already being fulfilled by the new facility.
Piotr Mazurek has more than 16 years of experience in pro AV, and before coming to Atlona he was a digital system design engineer at Van Berge Henegouwen Installaties and an application engineer at Extron.
