SiliconCore has appointed Paul Brown as vice president for UK sales and operations and Jim Wickenhiser to the role of senior VP strategic initiatives.
Brown has built up skills in client relations, service and business development for over 20 years, in the roles of general manager, management consultant and most recently head of account management EMEA for Electrosonic.
“I recently joined the whole team at InfoComm in Las Vegas and it was great to experience first hand the reaction from the industry to SiliconCore displays,” commented Brown. “Right now, the technology is sending ripples through the LED industry, focusing on brand new innovations that will increase durability and open up many more possibilities for the use of fine pixel pitch displays. It’s a great time to join as LED becomes a standard for the meeting room, corporate environments and much more.”
Brown will be supported by SiliconCore’s VP of Europe, Max Hedayat situated in Germany, and new senior VP strategic initiatives; Jim Wickenhiser, who brings his extensive experience within the AV industry to lead the company, alongside CEO Eric Li.
Wickenhiser has over 15 years experience in the AV industry, most recently at Barco, as director of business & technical operations, where he led multilingual sales, engineering and technical support teams across EMEA. His combination of technical expertise and customer focus enables him to lead the global team within SiliconCore and capitalise on its exciting product developments and innovations for 2018.
Eric Li, CEO of SiliconCore added: “Both Jim and Paul join SiliconCore at an imperative time for the company as we introduce new products and technology to the market. Our drive is to create manufacturing processes that influence and help the development of LED displays. Having Paul on board to lead our UK sales and use his wealth of industry and technical knowledge, especially with integrators, supports the ethos of the company and reinforces our growth and support for our clients.”
