Robe announces regional manager for southern France

Appointment of Jean-Marc Farré as regional manager for southern France follows recent restructuring related to the acquisition of UK-based Avolites

Robe Lighting France has announced that Jean-Marc Farré has joined its team as the regional manager for the vast southern area of France, encompassing territory from Bordeaux in the east, to Lyon in the west and everything south of that.

This appointment follows recent internal restructuring related to Robe’s acquisition of UK-based lighting console manufacturer, Avolites, in autumn 2023, resulting in new responsibilities taken on by Terry Di Isernia, who becomes the general all-markets manager for Avolites in France.

Jean-Marc Farré has spent many years as a technical director, general director, and lighting director, and he has additionally worked as a technician and head of automated lighting for large-scale venues and across a diversity of events.

Bruno Garros, MD of Robe Lighting France, said: “We are thrilled to have someone of Jean-Marc’s calibre onboard, someone who is respected particularly for heading up lighting projects and managing technical production for so many events and well-known venues like the Scène de Bayssan near Béziers. As theatres and operas are priority targets for Robe with the current product ranges, together with service and production providers, the timing is perfect for him to join our team.”

Farré said he was “delighted” to join Robe Lighting France, a company “renowned for its spirit of innovation and expertise in professional lighting”, and he is hugely enthusiastic about taking on responsibility for the south of France region.

He added:“I look forward to working with everyone and being part of a larger organisation dedicated to creating the best solutions to meet everyone’s expectations.”
