PPDS names global product manager – interactive displays

Lutz Harder, the new appointment, has had a 20-year career in AV, including various key roles at TP Vision

PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays and complementary solutions, has announced the appointment of experienced AV specialist – and long-serving TP Vision employee – Lutz Harder, as the company’s new global product manager – interactive displays.

Lutz has had a career in AV and technology spanning more than two decades, including 10 years at TP Vision – the world’s largest manufacturer of computer monitors and TV panels – holding roles, since 2014, as product manager high end TVs Germany,  product manager DACH, and, most recently, product manager Europe Philips TV.

Based in PPDS’ R&D and product development offices in Gent (Belgium) – and reporting to Andrea Barbuti, global product management lead for EMEA – Lutz will play an integral and strategic role in the growth and development of PPDS’ evolving interactive display portfolio and business. 

Lutz – who will present on the Philips stand NJ10 at Bett 2025 showcasing PPDS’ latest interactive solutions for education, and on stand 3P500 at ISE – commented: “I am thrilled to have accepted this exciting position at PPDS and to be entrusted in supporting the company in its growth goals and ambitions.”
