Two new products – the HR-310 Handheld Remote and TSR-310 Handheld Touch Screen Remote – are being introduced by Crestron at ISE 2018. Both build on the most successful elements of the previous generation of Crestron remotes, by adding more advanced functionality and an ergonomic design. Features include voice control, custom-engraved buttons, movement sensor, profiles settings and multi-colour buttons.
Doug Jacobson, director of residential technology at Crestron, commented: “Our previous generation of HR and TSR handheld remotes was ergonomically designed and ultra-reliable, but we felt we could do even better. The HR-310 and TSR-310 are Crestron handheld remotes reimagined.”
Ruggedised for durability and wrapped in a smooth easy-grip housing, the remotes are designed to deliver ‘exceptional’ comfort and ergonomics for hours of one-handed use, the company says.
The HR-301 features: backlit tactile buttons; long battery life utilising standard AAA batteries; nine buttons, able to be custom-engraved to display the most frequently used functions; and ‘ultra-reliable’ Crestron infiNET EX wireless gateway.
The TSR-310 features: a built-in 3in touchscreen display; improved resolution; a rechargeable battery that lasts 3-4 days between charges; enhanced processing power; WiFi connectivity for high-bandwidth communications; voice control; and an elegant, discreet charging station.
