The AVIXA Women’s Council has been hosting several events this week at ISE 2022. Yesterday, the council hosted a Shared Experiences Panel with inspirational individuals who discussed their journey into the AV industry, challenges they have faced, and how the AV industry tackles gender imbalance. The panel featured Michaela Hirsch of Peerless AV, Greg Jeffreys of Visual Displays, Malle Kaas from Women in Live Music, Diana Quintero of Bose, and Co-Chair of the AVIXA Women’s Council, Anna Shahin from Audiologic, and Rob Smith from Shure. The session was followed by a networking reception in the Hall 5 Projection Dome.
The AVIXA Women’s Council Italian group gathered on Tuesday for the first time in person for an in-language panel to discuss their professional experiences and the importance of women’s empowerment in the pro AV industry. Yesterday, also saw the group host a panel and coffee session (pictured).
Today sees the AVIXA Women’s Council DACH coming together for its first in-person meeting to network in the German language. (Time: 12:00-14:00, Room CC3.13A.)
