AJA has extended its line of H.264 streaming and recording devices with the Helo Plus. It supersedes the existing Helo, adding an expanded feature set inspired by user feedback. This includes dual streaming outputs and multi-input processing, SRT support, advanced encoding/decoding, improved scheduling options and device operation, and more.
It also includes a new Layouts feature, combining an SDI input and HDMI input into a single output stream with graphic overlays, seamlessly moving between layouts while streaming. Ten layouts are stored per preset, with 20 presets available. A framestore can store up to 20 images internally, and a built-in scheduler makes it easy to schedule independent recording/streaming events.
