Taking full advantage of Acoustic Energy’s experience in the field of active speakers, the two-way AE 1 Active is designed to deliver a ‘without compromise’ performance.
Featuring Acoustic Energy’s pure-piston ceramic aluminium cone technology, aluminium Tweeter, WDT wide dispersion technology waveguide and active fourth-order minimum phase crossover, the AE 1 Active has all the refinement and impact you would expect from the original AE 1, housed within a modern, elegant package.
With the added benefit of adjustable bass and treble and a choice of RCA or balanced XLR connections, this speaker is designed to blend seamlessly into any listening environment, without the need of a separate amplifier. The inbuilt fully analogue Class A/B amplifiers push out a distortion free linear 100W per speaker.
The AE1 Active is available now and available in high gloss piano lacquer black, white or cherry wood veneer versions.
