Display operator JCDecaux Momentum Shanghai Airport Advertising Company selected C-nario as the technological platform provider and primary project contractor following an extensive evaluation process.
With DVI Solutions acting as the local sub-contractor, C-nario provided its player systems – hardware and software – for delivering 250 concurrent targeted and synchronised content channels to any number, size, resolution or arrangement of screens in both airports. To date, C-nario solutions manage 209 displays, including MUPI advertising panels, video walls and TV screens. Advertising, airport authority announcements and live TV are among the content types.
“C-nario’s software is an excellent and scalable platform that perfectly meets the outdoor and indoor advertising needs at Shanghai’s airports,” said Thierry Bardoux, general manager, JCDecaux Momentum Shanghai Airport Advertising Company. “C-nario’s ability to produce perfect output has met our requirements. Advertisers are highly impressed by the overwhelming impact that the displays have on passengers, as well as by the competitive size of the project, the high-definition visual performance, the exclusive location, and the persuasive network.”
Putting the project in the context of C-nario’s overall presence in the Asia-Pacific region, the manufacturer’s VP of marketing, Yael Elstein, told II: “The APAC market is very important for C-nario and we see it as a strategic market. We also have a lot of experience with digital signage projects in airports (also in the US) and we see a growing demand for [them] from advertisers and media companies.”
