Crestron Europe opts for Sony BRAVIA for new workspace

For its larger, new office space in Mechelen, Belgium, Crestron chose the Sony displays as their cloud connection capability allowed for easy integration into Crestron control systems

Crestron Europe, the regional branch of Crestron Electronics, has chosen Sony Professional Displays & Solutions to reinvent its new workspace in the bustling city of Mechelen, in Belgium. Previously based in the small town of Rijmenam, in Belgium, Crestron recently moved to a much larger office space, which brought new challenges for the technology.

The extra size made it harder to ensure all the displays across the office were functional and displaying the correct content.  To overcome this issue, Crestron says it opted for Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays as the cloud connection capability allowed for easy integration into the Crestron control system.

Crestron wanted more training rooms than in its Rijmenam office, and opted to install FW-98BZ50L Sony BRAVIA displays in these new rooms. According to Crestron, Sony’s BRAVIA deep black non-glare technology ensured the training spaces avoided the harshness and distraction that can come with glare.

Kenneth Noyens, facility manager and director of training at Crestron, said: “Sony cloud connectivity capability meant that we weren’t just hanging displays on walls and hoping that they would work, but rather we could guarantee to our employees, and even potential customers that our displays are operational and displaying what is necessary.”

He added: “Customers walk into these spaces with the knowledge that the same technology will be used in their spaces if they opt to work with us, and that is why it is important they have a seamless experience. From entering our new office to leaving, we want customers and employees to be certain that what we do, we do it well, and that is why we chose Sony.”

Adam Dover, senior corporate & trade marketing manager, Sony Europe, concluded: “It is great to see that Crestron, a company that is no stranger to top of the line display solution providers, opted to use the BRAVIA FW-BZ40L model for their big move. Our confidence that Crestron picked the right partner for this move is strengthened by the fact that they haven now opted to use BRAVIA screens in their UK-based office too.”
