Installation has joined forces with sister publication TVBEurope to produce a special ebook exploring the on-going convergence of technology in the broadcast and AV markets, with areas such as IP, virtual production and artificial intelligence edging ever closer.
As well as thought leadership articles and in-depth features, the ebook includes a special preview of some of the latest technologies from broadcast and AV suppliers set to wow attendees at IBC2024 in September.
“When is AV technology not AV technology?” says Installation content director Rob Lane. “Well, it used to be the case that anything broadcast-facing wasn’t considered ‘AV’; crazy when you consider that a great deal of audio and video technology goes into producing the best broadcast has to offer. These days, of course, the lines between what’s considered ‘AV’ and what’s considered ‘broadcast’ are blurring so much that it’s difficult to see where one ends and the other begins – hence the reason for co-editing this special eBook, of course!”
