Atlona
Atlona’s biggest launch was the new PRO5 Series, anchored by the AT-PRO5-MX810, an 8×10 matrix switcher with HDMI inputs, and AV extension outputs with SDVoE 10GbE connectivity. At the booth, Garth Lobban, director of marketing, told Installation that many AV applications in education and corporate environments continue to call for high-performance, reliable matrix switching to route sources to multiple destinations

The PRO5-MX8x10 represents what he described as “an industry first”, offering point-to-point transmission 4K HDR video and audio delivery from a matrix switcher. He added: “SDVoE gives us something new to work with – a larger transmission pipe, 10 gigabits per second that allows us to send 4K HDR signals along with audio control, power and signal processing. So we’re utilising SDVoE as a point to point technology. Many people know SDVoE as AV over IP and it works great that way, but we already have an AV over IP solution. What we wanted to do was to improve on what we used to do for long distance transmission.”

AV Stumpfl
AV Stumpfl presented the latest addition to its PIXERA ecosystem at ISE. The Austrian manufacturer celebrated its 50th anniversary year at the show. Intended for digital signage and multi-display applications, the compact PIXERA zero media server combines a powerful hardware configuration with a space-saving design. Audinate
An offsite briefing from CEO Aidan Williams, provided an update on the latest Dante developments. Williams told the assembled audience: “We’re really excited with the progress of Dante and the penetration we’ve had in the market. We view ourselves as playing a critical role in the industry, and that we sit between manufacturers, the products that are on the market, the integrators designing the systems, and the end users that are actually managing those systems.”

He pointed out that the company has shipped 6m Dante devices to date and more than 600 manufacturers have licensed the technology for over 4,000 products. “An increasing number of those are video products,” he added.

BiAmp
BiAmp introduced three new 4800-watt models of its Voltera family of networked amplified loudspeaker controllers (ALCs). The new Voltera ALCs double the available wattage of the previously most powerful models, making them suitable for mid-size to larger venues, including stadiums, concert halls, event centres, and indoor arenas.

Martin Larsen, field sales engineer, said: “The Voltera family has been with us for a year and a half, but now we’ve upgraded the line, so now we go from 600 watts to 4800 watts, with full power sharing through the channels. It doesn’t matter if it’s low impedance or high impedance. The biggest boss we have in town is now 4800 watts, which means that on each channel you can drive that as 3600 watts maximum. So in the two channel version, that means 3600 watts on one channel, 1200 on the other. These could be used by stadiums, houses of  worship, or racetracks, for example.”

Bolin Technologies
Bolin’s booth featured a virtual production wall and included examples of the company’s outdoor and indoor PTZ cameras, encoders, and decoders, all networked together to demonstrate virtual/mobile production and corporate AV workflows. In addition to its own booth, Bolin had a solid presence across the show floor, including being a partner at NDI’s first-ever Ecosystem booth. Sapan Doshi, senior product manager for PTZ cameras, told Installation: “Bolin is the only company able to demonstrate Dante AV Ultra, Dante AV-H, NDI High Bandwidth, and NDI HX3 solutions. We’ve been doing trade shows for about the last four years, but the last year has been a redefining of who Bolin is. So these products represent our reintroduction to the market as an official brand producing unique technology. We’re here showing people that technologies don’t have to be siloed. You can mix this technology with that technology, and with another technology, cohesively to get the solutions you want for corporate AV, mobile production, or remote production.”

Datapath
Datapath added to both its hardware and software portfolio. As well as new products for its Aetria solution, an integrated platform that ensures scalability and future-proofing for control rooms, it showcased the latest video wall controllers that power multi-source video wall projects of any size.

Listen Technologies
The big announcement at ISE from Listen Technologies, a provider of advanced wireless listening solutions, was the deepening of its partnership with Ampetronic, a provider of audio induction loop systems. As both are operating under the Allvida umbrella of companies, the partnership made sense. The first co-developed product, on show at ISE, is Auri, a complete Auracast broadcast audio-based assistive listening solution. It includes the Auri TX2N Transmitter, the Auri RX1 Receiver, the Auri D4 and D16 Docking Stations, and management software.

Kim Franklin, VP of global marketing, explained: “In the past we distributed for each other, but now we’re two brands under one company. So we have centralised leadership and operations which will allow us to expand globally. We felt there was a lot of synergy between the companies, including a focus on sustainability. We introduced Auri at last year’s show as a concept and now it’s shipping, so the partnership is coming to fruition.”

Logitech
Logitech, a Swiss manufacturer of computer peripherals and software, unveiled its Logitech Spot millimetre-wave sensor. The small device can be attached anywhere, allowing companies to detect whether people are in the room. Logitech says power lasts four years on a single D-cell shaped lithium battery, with no wires required. As well as a radar sensor, it measures particulates, VOCs, CO2, temperature, pressure, and humidity, enabling companies to obtain health scores for rooms. The radar can see roughly 5m away.

James Campanini, head of B2B, Europe, Logitech, told Installation: “We just announced this product. Once you install it, it will connect back to any Logitech room system and we’ve also got a hub for it. As it provides all the room information like oxygen levels, we see it as part of a trend for room systems and technologies to become facilities. And for us that’s key as we are a consumer brand that is concerned about the end users.”

Lynx Technik/Future AV
LYNX Technik, a provider of modular signal processing solutions, unveiled its new 12G-SDI, HDMI H.264/265 Streamer and Recorder at ISE. As the company’s latest advancement in professional streaming and recording technology, the PEC 1464 is the successor to the PEC 1864 and brings an array of advanced features and performance for elevating AV media production and broadcasting. The PEC 1464 H.264/265 encoder offers a versatile solution for users who need to stream and record content simultaneously. This new yellobrik supports video formats up to 12G / 4K UHD and HDMI up to WQUXGA, as well as all popular streaming formats.

Vincent Noyer, director of product marketing, told Installation: “Our yellobriks are used across applications. We started in broadcasting, but we’ve also moved beyond it now. Cruise ships are using it. SpaceX is using them for its launch pads because they resist intense heat. You find them everywhere. A big selling point is the rack, because the power is fed by the rack itself. So you don’t have a ton of cables at the back. And can add as many racks as you want. And you also get a controller which allows you to monitor the health and status and configuration of every device.”

MSolutions
Making its international debut at ISE, MSolutions’ MS-63DOC docking extender is designed to simplify installation and consolidate all video, audio, and data signals through a single USB-C cable. According to MSolutions, the device removes the complexities of traditional HDMI setups by using one USB-C cable to transmit 4K@60 4:4:4 video, audio, and Ethernet over USB 3.2 Gen 1 to a host (transmitter). Positioned up to 100m away, this host acts as an HDBaseT gateway to the device, streamlining connectivity and enhancing flexibility.

Malissa Dillman, vice president, MSolutions, told Installation: “The key is that I am taking all of my signals and I’m transporting them over one category 6A cable. So I have fewer points of failure. A 6A cable is an easy cable to get a hold of. It’s not that expensive, and now you can break that out at the end and get dual displays. The beauty of it is that it does not matter which conferencing solution you use as it’s agnostic when it comes to the cameras.”

Neat
The Norwegian brand Neat has only been around for five years, but has already developed a foothold in the Teams space. The key to the growth, according to Jeremy Lampard, the product specialist for the UK and Ireland, has been simplicity. “We make sure we have a limited amount of products that can be really flexible and cover loads of different scenarios,” he explained to Installation. “We’ve now effectively got a small portfolio of some bars, some all-in-one board devices that can either be used to join meetings, or do bring your own device. What we’ve done recently is evolve the boards so we’ve got more form factors now. So we’ve got a Neat Board 50, which is for your small to medium rooms. And then we have the Neat Board Pro, which is the big 65in that’s based from medium to extra large spaces. And the idea is you can wheel them around.”

Sony
It was announced at ISE that Sony Professional Displays & Solutions has been selected by Crestron to reinvent the company’s workspace. Previously based in the small town of Rijmenam, Crestron’s move to the bustling city of Mechelen proved quite the task, and therefore the change had to be as seamless as possible. A bigger office space offered clear advantages, but also came with new challenges too – a larger workspace meant it would now be harder to be sure the displays across the office were all functional and displaying the correct content. To overcome this issue, Crestron opted for BRAVIA Professional Displays due to their Cloud connection capability, which allowed for seamless integration into the Crestron control system.

Adam Dover, senior trade marketing manager, Sony Europe, had this to say about ISE 2025: “It was great to be at ISE and showcasing our latest innovations and partnerships to the record-breaking number of attendees. Vizrt
Vizrt turned its stand into a space of “dynamic content creation” – a microcosm of broadcast AV. Kit on show included information on the AR & XR set up that creates immersive presentation experiences without the need for a full stage or studio (in partnership with ROE Visual and Tecnopoint), engaging presentations in limited learning rooms, a software-defined AV control room, and more. The intention was to allow attendees to visualise how teams can take spaces of any sizes, such as an office or a spare room, and create an empowered broadcast-quality AV production for a variety of purposes.
