PlexusAV, the professional AV division of Sencore that provides a suite of human-focused AV-over-IP solutions has announced it has signed a distribution agreement with ATEC Pro for Austria.
ATEC Pro was founded in 2007 and has expanded its market presence since then. As of today, ATEC Pro represents 16 international manufacturers in Austria, including Allen & Heath, Meyer Sound, Blaze Audio, Barco, AnalogWay and PureLink.
Steven Cogels, global director of business development at PlexusAV, said: “We are so pleased to have signed this new distribution agreement with ATEC Pro for Austria. I have known Andreas Hammerschmid and his team for many years, and I know that they are exceptionally well qualified to sell and support the PlexusAV line in this region.”
Andreas Hammerschmid, co-founder and head of video at ATEC Pro confirmed: “We believe that the video over IP market lacks an open transmission standard. The rapid development in the broadcast area with SMPTE2110 shows this to be the case. We are therefore firmly convinced that IPMX will also have a big impact on the AV-rental and integration market.”
He continued: “In order to better service our customers and their clients in this area, we are thrilled to have signed this new distribution agreement for Austria with PlexusAV. The ATEC Pro team has all the expertise necessary to understand our clients’ individual requirements and offer tailored video and audio solutions.”
He concluded: “Whether it’s setting up a high-quality conference room, optimising studio equipment or organising a major live event, we are here to help with our knowledge and experience and the PlexusAV line further supports our customers in this regard.”
