Atlona, a Panduit company and manufacturer of AV distribution, AV over IP, collaboration, and control solutions, has announced the appointment of LANG-BARANDAY to augment distribution initiatives in Switzerland, effective immediately. LANG-BARANDAY has grown to become one of the largest distribution companies serving the Swiss market.

Baranday was founded in 2006 by Nicola Votta. After the merger in 2017 with LANG, LANG-BARANDAY was able to include more suppliers in its portfolio. In addition to Barco, Analog Way and Audipack, the company now also acts as a distributor for Panasonic and Epson.
Thorsten Goecke, business director, EMEA for Atlona, said: “LANG-BARANDAY offers a large team of AV professionals with diverse skillsets that elevates our ability to support technical integration projects and provide a very high level of service. They carry a strong reputation in the Swiss market for providing full-solution setups to exacting specifications, and very effectively supporting both their brands and end customers through years of industry experience.”
Thorsten Goecke adds that LANG-BARANDAY’s strong relationships with the Swiss integration and consultant community will raise Atlona’s visibility and brand reputation in an AV business market.
Nicola Votta, CEO, LANG-BARANDAY, added: “Atlona offers a diverse portfolio of collaboration and connectivity solutions that provide our education and corporate customers with flexible options for AV over IP and HDBaseT systems, along with a control ecosystem that can be programmed and scaled for AV solutions of any size. With valued industry relationships across all 26 Swiss cantons (member states), we look forward to partnering with Atlona to bring the technical value and ease of use of their AV products and solutions to more end users nationwide.”
