How Kimura capital & viewsonic built future-ready workspaces

Kimura Capital partnered with ViewSonic to transform its London office, elevating both workspace functionality and the firm's brand identity

Kimura Capital, a London-based asset management firm specialising in commodity trade finance, recently expanded its team and relocated to a larger office alongside its sister company, Kimura Performance, which specialises in sports and esports marketing, to support its continued growth. To tackle challenges such as limited meeting space, outdated technology, and cramped workstations, Kimura partnered with ViewSonic for a technological upgrade that boosted productivity and collaboration.

Recognising the diverse needs of Kimura Capital and Kimura Performance, ViewSonic provided tailored workstations for optimal workflow. For the Kimura Capital team, analysts benefited from ultrawide monitors, providing expansive screen real estate for managing complex data streams – reducing the need for constant window switching, and enabling viewing of large datasets simultaneously. Sales teams and executives used videoconferencing monitors with built-in cameras and two-way noise reduction tech, allowing them to take individual video calls directly from their desks.

Meanwhile, for Kimura Performance, the creative team utilised pre-calibrated 27in colour-precision monitors to ensure accurate colours for video editing and image creation. The esports team enhanced their racing simulator with ViewSonic gaming monitors, featuring a 240Hz refresh rate and fast response time for a fully immersive experience.

COLLABORATIVE MEETINGS
Beyond enhancing individual productivity, Kimura transformed its meeting rooms into collaboration hubs for both in-person and hybrid interactions. As Tremaine explained: “We noticed a shift in the way clients wanted to communicate across multiple channels, especially post-Covid. We needed a solution that enabled effective communication at both the desktop and boardroom level.”

Kimura’s meeting rooms were equipped with ViewBoard interactive displays for wireless content sharing and real-time annotation. Paired with a video conferencing camera bar featuring voice tracking, this enabled seamless video calls and effective comms with colleagues and clients globally, regardless of location.

ViewSonic’s technology upgrade seamlessly aligned Kimura’s workspace with its business objectives and growth plans.
