European ICT company 2N has launched the Indoor Touch access control and door entry system. For both commercial and residential applications, Indoor Touch is available from CIE Group and compatible with 2N’s IP Helios Vario or Verso door entry system, as well as third-party IP devices.
“The great thing about Indoor Touch is that it combines all the installer benefits of access-over-IP, with a chic look that fits seamlessly into corporate and large residential environments,” said Chris Edwards, marketing director of CIE-Group. “Also, it is an open system that gives installers the added benefits of integration with 2N’s other IP products as well as third-party lighting control and heating systems for a wider range of functions and increased specification flexibility.”
It can remotely unlock internal/external doors using IP-addressable remote door locks, it can also switch on corridor and stair lighting. The user interface allows two-way communication with IP door intercom systems and VoIP telephones/videophones.
The control system also integrates with other third-party IP controlled devices to provide remote, touch-screen control of building management systems such as lighting, heating and curtains.
